The Legacy Team Lead reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for managing the legacy team on the program.

Specific responsibilities include:

Identifying and assessing complex problems and creating solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Adhering to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

• Interacting with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach

• Day to day delivery and maintenance of the legacy application

• Delivery of monthly KPIs to client

• Provide oversight and management of the legacy application team

• Being the single point of contact for all outages

• Work with Mobilization Resources to conduct successful transition from incumbent to AFS

• Maintain communications with AFS SI resources leading the transformation activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

  • 5 years of experience managing IT project

  • Understanding of ADM or ITIL based processes

  • Ability to pinpoint key issues in complex situations, evaluate pros and cons and develop ROI models

  • Experience working with Federal Government clients

  • U.S. Citizenship

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Individual needs to be a self-starter

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
