Accenture Enterprise Enablement (AEE) is a shared services arm within the Corporate Functions across the globe. AEE Sales and Operations teams works very closely with Accenture Sales organization and supports all Growth Platforms and Operating Groups. The team is responsible for all kind of sales operations and finance support required for an efficient sales operation. The team provides sales and pipeline data support, works as a PMO to the sales leads and drives sales operations initiatives including sales reviews, business review prep, reporting, analysis, cleansing, finance support, BD monitor and review.

JOB Summary

The External Research Specialist works within the Research and Editorial Team and reports to the External Research Lead to undertake secondary research on markets, topics or companies and will be required to search for information, analyse data and produce written analysis and materials to publishable standards using MS PowerPoint. The External Research Specialist is aligned to an Accenture Strategy Functional Area and Organization Group and oversees aligned Analysts and the pool of resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Proposal Development Support:

• Working as part of an Accenture global bid team, provide proposal management, content research and formatting to support development of client-facing deliverables (i.e. response to RFI, RFP, Orals Presentation prep)

• Manage creation of proposal documents, specifically those in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

• Under direction of an Opportunity Director/Sales Lead and Bid Manager, coordinate proposal inputs across internal deal team stakeholders; proactively follow-up with stakeholders to gather inputs as required

• Capture action items and pertinent notes from bid calls and work with Bid Manager to distribute to teams as required

• Coordinate archiving of finalized proposal content and content database upload

  1. Sales Enablement Support:

• Work with Sales Enablement team members and Management to support ad hoc requests for content gathering and editing/formatting support

• Under direction of Sales Enablement leads, support proactive curation and organization of ALSS Content Repository (i.e. Qvidian)

• Proactively maintain standard proposal templates and coordinate with internal business and legal stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent English language comprehension (written and oral)

• Strong project management skills

• Experience in analyzing data and representing data including bar graphs, pie charts etc.

• Strong communications skills (written and oral)

• Strong customer service – able to interact with all levels of executives

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good numeric ability required

• Flexible in working times to account for working with a demanding client, as well as a global/virtual team

• Ability to work independently and in virtual environment

Technical Skills

• Proficient in MS Suite:
