Accenture Regional Category Lead (all genders) Procurement – Workplace Solutions (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Italy, Central-Eastern Europe, Greece) in Frankfurt, Germany

Then follow your passion in a role where you’ll lead and coordinate our Procurement Plus Workplace category and all the resources involved on a regional level. This includes target setting, regional category strategy definition, project execution, and stakeholder alignment. Interested? Then get ready to implement and execute global category initiatives – as manager of local sourcing/procurement activities in the region.

That’s how you’ll make a difference:

You’ll manage direct reports including target setting, performance, training and career development. To identify initiatives for improvement, you’ll benchmark current category practices with regional developments. You’ll ensure successful implementation of global strategy / agreements in the region by coordinating resource allocation and supporting category strategy development, negotiations, and sourcing activities. At the same time, you’ll develop and maintain regional supplier and customer relationships. Furthermore, you’ll perform category management activities for projects.

That’s what we are expecting:

Master’s degree with emphasis on the areas of economics, procurement or comparable professional education Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with a proven multi-year track record in the above areas or workplace experience At least 5 years working experience in similar or adequate roles in procurement environment, with international project and people management elements Minimum 3 years of experience working with senior executives to implement and manage initiatives in a highly complex matrix organization Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills in English, German and Italian, both spoken and written
