AFS MC Operations Senior Manager - MBB will fill a leadership role in the AFS MC Operations practice as a Lena Six Sigma subject matter expert, supporting client projects in a leadership role as a Master Black Belt as well as internal AFS MC Operations development. The role may also support different supply chain or process design functions (e.g., sourcing & procurement; integrated planning & fulfillment; product life cycle management; prime value stream mapping; business cases development). Expectations of senior manager may include the ability and experience to perform the following:

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt - Candidate must accredited LSS MBB certification.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 15 years of relevant work experience with specific LSS/CPI experience

  • 5 years of experience as a certified MBB

  • Demonstrated minimum Client savings of $15M

  • 5 years of experience as a project lead

  • Extensive experience with MS Office suite

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA\MS\MA with a BS - Industrial Engineering or BS - Applied Mathematics or BA\BS - Business (Supply Chain Management) or BS – MIS or BS - Finance/Accounting

  • Experience working with Defense Agency and/or Intelligence Community (IC) Knowledge of Federal acquisition process

  • Knowledge of Federal budgeting/financial management

  • Consulting industry or relevant Defense agency/service

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
